How We Think About Pricing

Depth, design, and responsibility

Our pricing reflects the level of preparation, relational depth, and responsibility involved in this work. We design and facilitate experiences that engage real dynamics in real time, and that requires thoughtful design, presence, and follow-through.

When questions about investment come up, we approach them with curiosity, not defensiveness. Helpful questions often include:

  • “What budget range were you expecting?”
  • “What feels most important to protect here, depth, scope, or duration?”

Pricing FAQ

Common questions about investment

This work is custom by design. The answers below are meant to give clarity without turning your decision into a spreadsheet exercise.

01

Why don’t you list exact prices for every service?

Our work is custom by design. Pricing reflects the scope, complexity, preparation, and responsibility involved in each engagement, not just time spent in the room. A short conversation allows us to understand your context and recommend an approach that’s both effective and appropriately scoped.

02

What does your pricing include?

Pricing typically includes:

  • Discovery and alignment conversations
  • Thoughtful design and preparation
  • Facilitation or coaching delivery
  • Reflection, synthesis, or follow-up recommendations

For retreats and workshops, pricing reflects the full arc of the work, not just the session itself.

03

How do you determine pricing?

Pricing is informed by:

  • Depth and duration of the engagement
  • Level of customization required
  • Facilitation intensity and relational risk
  • Number of stakeholders involved
  • Ongoing support or follow-up

We aim to price engagements in a way that protects the quality and integrity of the work.

04

Do you offer sliding scale or discounts?

In some cases, we are able to offer adjusted pricing for mission-driven organizations or values-aligned work with limited budgets. When that’s possible, we do so while still protecting the time and energy required to do this work well.

05

What if our budget is more limited than these ranges?

If your budget is below the ranges listed here, we can sometimes adjust scope, format, or duration to find a fit, for example, a shorter engagement, a focused workshop, or a limited advisory period. If we’re not the right match, we’re honest about that and may suggest alternative paths.

06

How do clients typically see value?

Clients often name clearer communication, reduced relational strain, more effective leadership conversations, and increased trust and alignment as outcomes. They also value the synthesis documents and recommendations that make it easier to carry insights forward after an engagement ends.

07

What happens next if we’re interested in working together?

The next step is a short discovery conversation. From there, you’ll receive a clear proposal with a recommended approach and investment range. There is no obligation, our goal is to help you decide whether this is the right fit and timing for your team.

Ready to explore a possible engagement?

If these ranges feel aligned with the level of work you’re seeking, the best next step is a conversation. We’ll clarify your context, name a few possible paths, and see whether Mend & Kindle is the right partner.
